Film & Photo Shoots

Knysna Elephant Park provides the conditional opportunity to the film and photographic industry to feature our elephants. At no stage are our elephants’ welfare compromised, Knysna Elephant Park will not have any involvement with shoots which require the animals to extend themselves to perform acts that are not natural to their behaviour.

Knysna Elephant Park and the elephants have featured in numerous photographic shoots and local television programmes, particularly wildlife features. Harry has acted in a number of movies, the most well-known being King Solomon’s Mines (starring Patrick Swayze) and the most recent, The Magic Tale - an Imax movie that was filmed at the Park and is due for release at the end of 2009.
